Buffalo Grove, IL – 18-Year-Old Jeremi Klodzinski Killed in Motorcycle Accident


The Wheeling community is grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of 18-year-old Jeremi Klodzinski, who tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident on the evening of Friday, September 19, 2025.

At approximately 5:40 p.m., Buffalo Grove police responded to a serious collision involving Jeremi’s motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Buffalo Grove Road and University Drive in the northern Chicago suburbs. Despite the swift efforts of first responders to provide aid at the scene, Jeremi was transported to a nearby hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased.

The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed and is fully cooperating with ongoing investigations. Authorities temporarily closed Buffalo Grove Road between Dundee Road and East Darryl Drive for several hours to allow crash investigators to thoroughly examine the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and no citations or charges have been filed at this time. The Buffalo Grove Police Department’s Traffic Unit, along with the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team, continue their work to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
